Leos Club


Aspley Leo Club provides youth with an opportunity for self-development and contribution, both individually and as a team, and encourages members to develop leadership qualities by participating in community service activities.

The Aspley Leos Club consists of 15 charter members, and received its Charter on 17th July 2013. A Charter Dinner to celebrate its formation was held on 31st August 2013 at the Fitzgibbon Community Centre.

Aspley Lions Club President (2013-14), Des Sawyer was the driving force in establishing and mentoring the Aspley Leos Club.

Aspley Leos conduct various projects in the fields of fund raising, health care, assisting the disabled, literacy and education, as well as participating in many and varied social activities.

The Aspley Leo Club meets on 3rd Monday of each month at 5 pm at the Aspley 10 Pin Bowling Centre in Albany Creek Road, Aspley, and is open to all persons aged 15 to 25 years.
