Aspley Lions Club makes things happen!

Through Aspley Lions you get to make new friends, have a great time and meet people from a diverse range of backgrounds, all while volunteering as a team in worthwhile and satisfying community projects.

We are actively involved working on projects to help make our community a better place in which to live.

Aspley Lions Club received its charter in 1968 and presently has over 30 members.

Our Club is part of Lions District 201Q3 and is dedicated to improving all aspects of our local community, especially in the areas of youth, sight, hearing and the environment.

Dinner Meetings:

Aspley Lions meet at 7:00pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Aspley Hornets Football Club, Graham Road, Carseldine.

Club Bannerette:

Our Club bannerette includes the Cobb & Co horse-drawn coach, as Aspley was the first staging point for north-bound coaches leaving Brisbane in the 1800s.

The bannerette also includes the Queensland icons of sun, sea and the tropics.

We meet the needs of our local communities and the world. Lions International consists of over 1.35 million men and women in 207 countries.

We are involved in vision and health screenings, building parks, supporting eye hospitals and medical research, scholarships, youth development, providing help in time of disaster and much more.

Lions club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide.
